Alphabet design - Candle
This project combines the fluid nature of candles with the visual effect of letters. Using a fire gun to melt candle wax into various shapes creates unique textures and visual effects. Due to the wax's fluidity, multiple attempts are often needed to achieve the desired outcome. If the wax doesn't flow smoothly, melting another candle and dripping the wax onto the target can also yield good results. Monitoring solidification time is crucial to avoid cracks caused by the wax shrinking. Filming the process requires attention to weather changes to maintain a consistent style. The final designed letters can be freely arranged and combined for more visual possibilities, with the entire experimental process documented in a video to showcase the dsign aesthetics and effects.
